After years of singing popular, folk, rock  and café-style songs, and performing as a classical guitar player, Kevin decided to make a serious foray into the New York cabaret scene where he has been performing the songs of such greats as: Porter, Arlen, Styne, Burton, Sondheim, Bucchino, Schwartz, Lennon and McCartney, Mercer and Berlin in some of the legendary cabaret venues in New York City. He appeared in numerous cabaret shows produced by the 92nd Street Y and Manhattan Cabaret Arts. Kevin has also performed in master classes for the cabaret greats Andrea Marcovicci and Marilyn Maye and studied privately with Marilyn Maye. Kevin’s premier cabaret solo show You’ve Got a Friend in Me” was presented in 2012 and 2013 to high praise. In 2014 Kevin has been performing his second solo cabaret show “I Love to See You Smile!”  to enthusiastic audiences. After two performances at The Metropolitan Room, he will be doing two performances at Don’t Tell Mama on August 22 and September 27. Along with writing songs and instrumentals, he has also published two books of poetry entitled: Angry Moon June Says Hello (2010) and The Bridge of Love (2011) which was awarded the Pinnacle Award for Excellence in Poetry for 2012. Kevin is a manager at Administration for Children’s Services, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Psychoanalyst in private practice.
